At Towards Tranquility we help soothe anxiety and worries around starting therapy by answer all your questions in a FREE introductory Call where you get to decide if you feel we are the right fit for you. Within the following sessions we will tailor together how the sessions will look making suggestions and leaving you wilth final choice so you feel in control of the direction of our sessions.
Therapy shouldn't feel traumatic or overwhelming but it can feel emotional at times and challenging at others which is why we move at your pace and only explore the things you are ready to. Utilising lots of different coping strategies, tools and approaches that will suit you best within each session. Flexibility is how we approach sessions might include: talking, creativity, visualisation, CBT techniques, music, metaphors, somatic body activities, cards etc, etc, etc, It's your choice how the sessions look, we are guided by you.
Tranquility looks different for everyone and so the journey will be as unique as you and the experience will as well. We will support you on your journey towards finding moments of tranquility and being able to utilise them so that feeling seeps into every day life, helping you to feel happier, calmer and more content.
Because everyones journey is individual we regularly check in together around how you are finding sessions, if you need anything different or if you feel you need some time away from sessions to process on your own for awhile. At Towards Tranquility we are guided by you as to when you feel the right time is to stop sessions. Equally part of the process can include varying how often you attend sessions. We have flexibility in our approach to enable you to attend sessions at times that feel right for you.
